WTF! My God some so called mates can be HORRORable. Why would anyone over the phone make statement to say Dave, I dont think youll like working in Aged Care. He said Youll be told what to, youll be watched constantly, youll need to clean up the old peoples shit. I said to him, Ive paid for the complete coarse, almost completed all 17 units, watched the videos on a PCAs duty of care in the position and Ive got 2 placements to choose from. Why would I go this far if I didnt have the interest or passion to succeed in this industry? Why do people think they know you more personally and in a professional role more than you know yourself. When I expressed that I dont need your negativity, he claimed he wasnt. Seriously at 58 years of age man, I wouldve thought youd have much more tact. Its not your choice or your business to decide for someone else. Go back to working with Qantas, thid time spread your wings and lift ya game.... Im not really that up set folks, I move on...
