WWU Alumni Jazz Band Special Event in One Week! Thursday, October 16th at 7pm Join music lovers across the state for a celebration of the strength and vitality of Westerns contribution to the jazz scene in the Northwest and beyond. Mike Allen, saxophonist and Jazz Director at Western Washington University, has enlisted the talents of some of the top jazz musicians in the region (and WWU alumni!) to form the band. Together they will perform an intimate set of ensemble music, followed by a jam session featuring special guests.
