Waking up to all the news headlines regarding the imminent - TopicsExpress

Waking up to all the news headlines regarding the imminent Scottish independence referendum and the Yes campaign slight lead, had this thought. If Scotland does vote to breakaway, it has already been suggested that the new Parliament will aim to establish its own Scottish Motor Services Agency. This will take on the roles currently administered by DVLA & DVSA by the second term of government. Should this happen, how would ADIs in the border regions be affected? Would they be prevented from working across borders by virtue of not being registered with the other countrys regulatory body? Could they be required to register with both DVSA & the new SMSA and have to incur 2 sets of fees, etc.
