Walk in Faith Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished! Luke 1:45 When the angel appeared to Mary and told her she would bear the son of God, Mary chose to believe God and the result was the conception by the Holy Spirit-the Son of God. An angel visited Joseph in a dream, saying, Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins (Matthew 1:20-21). Joseph rose up and did exactly as the angel had commanded. It will always be a walk of faith. By faith, Noah prepared an ark for the saving of his household; by faith, Abraham obeyed when he was called to go to the place which he would receive as an inheritance; by faith, Sarah received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age. This life we are called to live is not the result of blind faith. Faith is, as my mentor Dr. Lester Sumrall said, simply knowing God. When you know God, it is not hard to believe Him.
