Walked home, after playing at Dempseys tonight. It was a stroll down memory lane. Recalling the families who lived in these houses, the shenanigans, the happiness, the sadness, and the tragedies. Wow , each day is a Blessing!!! Reflecting on all these realities, what a wonderful life God has allowed me to live! I do not know the status of many of my childhood neighbors. Some have died, some stayed, most have traveled on to far horizons. Some, who left, like me, have returned to this town that forever tugs on your heartstrings. Many who have left, yearn to return, they will, if they are given the opportunity to return. Others are trapped by circumstances that have subverted their desire to come home. Home is where your heart resides.
