Walking with Jesus is not an easy choice. But consider the options or consequences by evaluating your biggest fears; death..., living without friends, without possessions, position or popularity...or the advantages, living without fear of these very same things. Jesus said, “ Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Luke 11:9-10 Once we have accepted Christ and found the beginnings of new life, many distractions will come along and try to steal it away from us. Paul instructed the Colossians writing, "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God." Colossians 3:1-3 So what must we do to inherit eternal life? “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself." Luke 10:27 “Do this and you will live.” And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Col 3:17
