Want to know a little more of Palestinian daily life in the West Bank? Take a look at this video of what its like at Israeli check points spread throughout the West Bank. There are over 500. This number is difficult to count because they can randomly create a checkpoint at will. Palestinians have never had the freedom to travel their own land to visit family, conduct business or even visit health professionals, like doctors visits and health emergencies. This is called occupation, colonization and oppression. Ive had my own personal experiences at these check points. Some of them have been scary and life threatening. All of them have been demeaning. Why is this side not represented as a legitimate grievance on the part of the Palestinians in the media? Why does not our so called democratic leaders like Obama, Clinton and Kerry want to address this REAL disastrous problem publicly when talking about the issues about peace and conflict? Why?
