Want to welcome our newest family member Sydney! Thanks to our friends over at Dachshund Rescue Patrol. Marika Maris Blakey went out with Marisa Milford and rescued 10 dogs from a house in Chipley after the owners went to jail and their family members reached out to White Oak Animal Rescue for help! Taking this many dogs is a monumental task. As a group effort we were able to get them all safe and into rescues. Alaqua Animal Refuge took in a momma and her 6 pups. Also took in Big Tank a beautiful Bull Mastiff thanks to Doc Amy and Laurie Hardwick Hood and all the staff. Dachshund Rescue Patrol took in a female Doxie and make Chi-Weenie. After meeting Sydney the Doxie girl we knew that she would be a great match for our Jojo. Also she was in heat and with her small size having her spayed while in heat wasnt the best idea. So she came home with us to gain some weight get vaccinated and spayed in the near future. Also we currently have only females on site so no accidents will occur. It takes so many people coming together to save a single life and with this collective of rescues and animal lovers we saved 10! Love working with u ladies it is an honor! White Oak now has 4 resident animal ambassadors.
