Wanted: A family who is willing to keep a stash of tennis balls on hand at all times! We saved Flirt, our sweet Boxer/American Bulldog mix, from a high kill shelter where she came in as a stray. Likely kept chained outside as a junkyard dog for most of her 9 months of life, Flirt was filthy and covered in urine stains when she arrived at Animal Control. As soon as we met her, we knew that we had to save her and show her how wonderful life can be off of a chain and in a loving home. Making up for lost time, Flirt was a bit of a wild child initially so we decided to enlist the help of one of our amazing trainers to help Flirt learn how to put her energy to good use. After a couple weeks of learning to walk on a leash, daily play groups with other dogs and basic obedience, this 45 lb. girl is still all puppy but now also a well mannered lady. Flirt is extremely intelligent and eager to learn. Her zest for life is completely contagious and while she loves to play, she is also perfectly content to cuddle up on the couch for a good snuggle session. Flirt is housebroken and crate trained and would be a great fit for an energetic family! Flirt is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped.
