Wanted to share a quick story while thinking about some good old times and Jimis upcoming memorial . This was 7-8-2014 , We did not get to see Jimi Jamison (Survivor) much as in other years and the last few times they were not coming out to meet the crowds , On this night we decided to try the nearest hotel in town with the chance that someone maybe was staying there , First shuttle bus that pulled up there was Jimi Jamison , It was really late and he stopped as he would always do , Was really nice to talk for about 15min . I looked at my phone and realized its my birthday in about 1/2 hour , I just laughed and told Jimi that he said well what are you waiting for man... come on over here brother and lets take a picture Talked to him for a few more minutes and then headed off to bed for his flight home to Memphis . This was a great night , Little did we know that we would never talk to him again :( . He wasnt just a singer ,He was our friend !
