Warehouse Associate- SW Indy A growing distribution organization on the southwest side of Indianapolis seeks a Warehouse Associate to join their team and assist with storing, shipping and handling of customer products in a clean, professional warehouse environment. Essential Job Duties Include: · Seek opportunities to maximize space and efficiency in the shipping, receiving and stocking of products · Responsible for staging, loading, unloading and verifying accuracy of shipments · Assist with ensuring inventory location integrity · Perform weekly “dock” and certification audits · Review freight claims and research shipping errors or inventory discrepancies · Complete maintenance calendar · Build or assemble light production orders as needed · Provide friendly customer service and assistance to walk-in customers · Clean and maintain warehouse area Candidate Qualifications: · High school degree required · 1 – 3 years of warehouse experience preferred · Forklift certification preferred · Proficiency with computers and competency in the use of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Outlook) · Excellent verbal and written communication and active listening skills · Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities and tasks in a deadline oriented environment · Basic to intermediate mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication,division, percentages) Please apply via Purple Ink LLCs client job opening page: purpleinkllc.hirecentric/jobs/70122.html
