Warning: Netflix Email Scam Netflix Scam 2014 Watch out for this Netflix scam! The scam directs users to a fake website after they try to log in to Netflix, and provides them with a customer service phone number (which is also fake). The website informs the user that their account has been suspended due to “unusual activity”. When the user calls the customer service phone number, a phony Netflix rep tells them about getting “support software”, which is remote login software that gives the phonies full access to your computer. They may also ask for credit card information. If you see this Netflix email, report it to the company and mark the email as SPAM.
