*Was down to as low as 2,200 in chips (starting stack 10K), and made a strong comeback, to as high as 70K in chips when the average was only 32K, with 60 players left. *Last hand of the tournament, blinds 6k/12k, I had about 50K in chips, shipped KJs in spades from UTG, because big blind was a tight female player with 80K stack. All fold, but BB woke up with a big hand and called with AQo with Ace of dime. Flop K66 with 2 dimes. Turn 9 dime. River 5 dime. GG. *So close, if only I could dodge the river, I would have had 100K in chips. Oh well, at least it was a good start-- always good to be able to draw the first blood (ITM) in the first event you played. haha :P *Even though it was just min-cashed, at least I didnt come away with empty after 6 hours of battle. Just too bad that if the flop gives me hope after hitting a King, why go runner-runner flush... Next time, just flopped an Ace, so I dont have to keep my hopes up until the river card. >
