Was gruelling the head where to go, when Rohan suggested Kesar Foods ! We were a little reluctant as we thought there would be no A/c, but wait! The basement has a good seating capacity in an air conditioned area! Small place, flooded mostly with families and bachelors, Kesar foods had been one of my liked places, always for a take-away!! This time we chose to dine-in ! Placed the order with a Hungry look on the face- a tomato soup, veg lollipop , a subzi, a cheese naan, a butter naan and a lassi... And the steward had a will u eat so much look ! He: shayad zyada ho jayega We: umm...ok lassi cancel Two minutes later: Bhaiya woh lassi bhi le aana ! So there goes the order : Tomato soup : nothing amazing, simple, sweet, cliche North Indian restaurant Wala tomato soup, with lots of cream ! Veg lollipop : soft manchurian balls, tasted good and above the laari- style Chinese starter ! Not bad ! Cheese butter Masala : My all-time favourite, this one had a typically not-usual restaurant style Wala taste to it! Chunks of cheese melting away into awesome taste! Above average ! Do try this one if you happen to be a cheese lover ! (Well, try even if u dont!) Butter naan: it made me fall in love with its crispness ! So fresh and perfectly grilled this one! Cheese naan : sorry to say but this was a dud! The naan was sad and had no particular taste of cheese, too thick as well! The lassi : had ordered this one on a friends recommendation ! Enough to tingle the sugar rush in you, this one was brilliant! Thick curd and dry fruits, one good combination! Heart leaping with joy of a good meal!! The service was pretty quick and in half hour we had wiped the plates off ! Stomach full, satisfied taste buds and the pocket happier than ever! Do visit!! :D
