Was just reading in Matthew 14:22-33 heres what it says:Immediately Jesus made the Disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of Him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. After he had dismissed them he went up on a mountainside by himself to Pray. when evening came he was there alone , but the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. During the fourth watch of the night Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the Disciples saw him walking on the lake they were terrified. Its a ghost they said and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them Take Courage it is I. Dont be afraid. Lord if its you Peter replied tell me me to come to you on the water. Come he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out Lord save me! Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. you of little faith. he said, why did you doubt? And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, Truly you are the Son of God. As I read this I realized Two things The Disciples despite being with Jesus and seeing all he had done up to that point still said Truly you are the Son of God we are also like the Disciples the Wind and the Waves can be the many problems, or people, doubts, or thoughts people have of us often we cry out in fear and despair and Jesus tells us Take Courage it is I. dont be afraid and we ask the Lord just as Peter did tell me to come to you on the Water and Jesus tells us to come and we go to him out onto the Waters of our problems and stress and despair but when we see how much it is or the amount which seems great we become afraid and begin to sink into more Problems and doubt and we cry out to the Lord for him to Save us from our Problems and the Lord says you of little Faith why did you doubt? why do we doubt the Lord will save us from our problems??? why do we doubt that we wont make it through??? because as Humans we are always doubting we have doubt everyday we doubt Love our existence our knowledge we doubt so many things and we cry out to the Lord to save us, when he already has we must learn to Trust the Lord to tell our enemies Im Trusting in the Lord and you cant make me doubt his Love or that hell Save us because he already has. my Brothers and Sister Christians the Lord has already overcome all yet we still doubt because the World fills us with doubt and Satan whispers in our ears doubts our faults our Sins and we listen Satan Get behind me and leave me alone the Lord is my Shepard my Savior my Rock you will NOT shake my Faith nor my Trust in the Lord Almighty Jesus God is in Control and the Lord has the Authority dont listen to the Devils lies look upon our Lord walking upon the Water and do not be filled with doubt for our Savior commands the Winds and the Waves to be still
