Was listening to this song tonight on the drive home from work. When I was younger and even teenage years into the present. I also felt this song was a lonely depressing song. Without going into much detail. I have always had on again off again relationships like a lot of people have. But for the first time. I heard this song thru. Different mind set. Its like a breath of fresh air. I had put myself in some very toxic relationships for 1 reason. To not be alone. It has taken me over half a year to change my thinking. I know accept that being alone is ok. People use to tell me you can never find true happiness until your happy alone with yourself. I fought that idea because for the past 20 years. I have been in long term relationships. I cant believe it took this long but my mind set is set on having a life for my two awesome children and making the best life I can for them. If something was to cross my path that captured my heart. Of course Id go for it. But I have finally reached a place where being alone is ok. Im still with me everyday. I have to like me more and dedicate my priorities to my children and work. Love this song
