Was pleasantly surprised to come across this video because 3 weeks back, a man came up to me as I was getting into my car with the family at a church, after attending a wedding there, and asked me for some money to top up his EZLink card. He claimed to be currently out of a job so I questioned him if he was going to use the money to drink or for any bad habits. He took out his NRIC and asked me to take down his particulars to verify and assured me that he really needed the money for basic necessities. I then decided to gave him some money to help and upon receiving, he said he would somehow return it to me one day. I just replied, No need. When you are finally doing well again for yourself, help someone else, ok? He was puzzled for a moment before understanding and said he would definitely do that.
