The money was raised from various fundraising events organized by the MHC in cooperation with partner/supporting organizations which began in November 2013, a few days after typhoon Haiyan. . THE REBUIDLING EFFORTS is far from over for it takes years to rehabilitate heavily afftected families, people whose livelihoods and towns that have been almost or if not wiped out by typhoon HAIYAN/YOLANDA.
