***Water Notice - Well #2 Repair*** One of the City’s four active wells is currently down for about five weeks for repair. This will primarily affect the area of the North Ranch and Meadow Ranch neighborhoods (north side of SR-73), causing low water pressure. There is a City ordinance prohibiting watering between the hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Although we have an adequate water supply now, mechanical problems with wells can happen at any time. With one well down, we want to be extra cautious. Water conservation by all EM residents is encouraged to help avoid the need for outdoor water restrictions. See the link below for conservation tips. USU offers a free water check program for residential irrigation systems. To request a water check, visit slowtheflow.org or call 1-877-728-3420. If you are unable to resolve a water pressure problem, please call the utilities hotline at 801-789-5959 and leave a message for the water department (option 3).
