Way too many people confuse Fascism, Communism and Socialism. -----Fascism. Think Adolf Hitler. Fascism is where the military industrial complex (and rich) rule. Its all about power, fear and control. Sound familiar? ---Communism. Communism is where everything is run by the government, there is no individualism. There are no Classes, everyones equal. It gets a bad rep because of the USSR; Stalin had no idea what he was doing and was Totalitarian. -----Socialism. Modern socialism is where the government provides basic human rights services like healthcare and education while still allowing a private sector. Socialists help each other for the good of everyone instead of profit profit profit. The USSR was not actually socialist and socialism wont turn communist or fascist, thats just a fear tactic by the right. 90% of developed countries are socialist-like for a reason, and they always get top ratings for health and wellness. Its hypocritical to criticize the cost of living abroad though when you have 3 trucks in your driveway. -----Capitalism. Capitalism is where almost everything is private run. Companies are free to do what they want, hire, fire, pay who and what they want. Capitalists are all about monetary gain (and the whole donations/charity thing is about tax deductions). It can and does turn people greedy, because you need 6 cars in life lol. Rest assured there is plenty of money in America for everyone, but a small group of greedy people are taking it all by exploiting. -----The rich or wannabe-rich will always prefer Capitalism. The middle class person (nurse, teacher) who wont get rich, would prefer socialism. For someone with no financial goals in life, theyd prefer communism.
