Wayne and I were chatting today about how much has changed in our lives just this past year. Last July, I quit my job at UNR and he retired. In August I got certified as an NLP with Academy of Coaching & NLP. I spent 3 amazing weeks with people I will love forever! In September and October I went to Europe for the first time and spent 2.5 amazing weeks having the trip of a lifetime traveling to Germany, Italy, England, France and Belgium with my awesome son, Forrestfire Underwood! In November & December Wayne and I traveled to FL to spend time with our family and play snowbirds while we were deciding where we might consider moving back to in FL. In January I was offered and accepted a position at the Florida Small Business Development Center at UNF in Jacksonville, FL. Wayne and I went back to Reno, packed up our stuff, had it moved while we drove the 2,700 miles to Jacksonville, FL in Feb. I traveled to CA in March to attend Brendon Burchard - Live. Love. Matter.s Experts Academy. Wayne went on several trips to see his brothers and had visits with his fab sister, Lorraine Clark! Being closer to family was our main intent for moving back to FL. I have gotten to see my wonderful son, Alex Wood and his delightful girlfriend, Caitlin Lisabeth several times. Wayne and I went to Chicago in May on a FSBDC business trip and got to hang out with his cool son, Adam Dreyer. In May I got to reconnect with a bunch of my college Kappa Sorority Sisters for fun beach weekend. Wayne and I also went to Charleston, SC for an adventure. In June we went to Tarpon Springs and Tampa for our FSBDC Conference. Forrest decided to change his career path in the Air Force. He will move from Germany and he will be going to Japan for 3 years. I am going to see him in August in Albuquerque, NM where he is attending training for his new aircraft. And…in June we put an offer in for our new home and we move into it on July 23rd! And the is just one year! All I can say is WOW! What a crazy year this has been. Lots more excitement scheduled for the rest of the year too!
