We Care In Action........For Flight Attendants.....From this, I came up with a quote, Someone who is friends with everyone, is not really friends with anyone at all. You really do know who cared about you and who really didnt when you get sick. To all my FA friends, I completely understand that unless I called you and told you, I was out sick and you never would have known. There was a project I hoped to work on if I made it back to work. I wanted to have a page, where flight attendants could post that they were out sick, injured, or had a catastropic event and needed help. Unless it is very extreme people really dont know. I think we would all help each other if only we knew our Family needed us. Wouldnt that be a great way for retirees to stay in touch. All it would take is for supervisor to tell people their was such a page. For example, I had difficulty getting food, because I was to sick to drive to the grocery store, same with medications, and getting to the doctors. I had to hire taxis to go to those appointments. I do want to recognize Dianne Carr, whose kindness was beyond what I ever could have imagine. She offered to personally take me to my MD appointments. For those of you still there that read this, stop in and say, Holly Says Thank You. Love you all. Anybody really interested in start this We Care In Action site for FAs send me a message. I would love it if there was a group still working who could help me get this to happen.
