We Lived We Loved and We Laughed .... Miss you Grandma Shirley! Obituary Info: Shirley Mae Vande Brink, age 84, of Brandon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Daniel and Sharon Sina’s home with her family by her side. Shirley was born October 23, 1929, in Ripon, the daughter of George and Hazel (Cain) Splitt. She graduated from Ripon High School and on November 29, 1947, Shirley married Robert Morace Vande Brink at St. Wenceslas Catholic Church in Ripon. She retired from Ripon Medical Center as a housekeeper. Shirley was a key holder and a member of St. Mary Parish in Brandon. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Robert Vande Brink of Brandon, WI; her children, Donald (Ann) Vande Brink of Seffner, FL, Robert (Rose) Vande Brink of Tripoli, WI, Jana Vande Brink of Markesan, WI; Catherine (Donald) Statz of Tampa, FL and Thomas (Sheree) Vande Brink of Madison, WI; ten grandchildren, Eddie Vande Brink, Eric (Melissa) Vande Brink, Jon (Pam) Vande Brink, Jennifer (Shawn) Dudzinski, Matt (DeAna) Vande Brink, Paula (John) Richter, Pamela (Tony) Sauer, Kyle (Katie) Vande Brink, Stacy (Carl) Avari-Cooper and Jamie (Jennifer) Statz; twenty-two, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, son, Michael Vande Brink; daughter-in-law, Betty Vande Brink; granddaughter, Catherine Vande Brink and sisters, Gloria Splitt, Catherine Joyce Splitt and Mary Ellen Zahn. Visitation for Shirley will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013, from 9:30 – 11:30 am at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church, 102 West Bowen St., Brandon, WI 53919. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at 11:30 am at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Brandon. Father John Schmitz will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Township of Springvale, WI. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary Parish in the Town of Spingvale, WI.
