We absolutely hate Stanford. Everything about them, Cal junior running back Daniel Lasco said. We respect them, but I cant stand them. And I dont think anybody on this team can stand them. In the news this morning they quoted a 6th year Cal senior and on the broadcast they talked about and showed a photo of a 5th year senior who touched the Axe (when it was in their possession). Next fall Cal will have no one who has touched the Axe and I do believe that includes the coaching staff. Hammer is probably a Cal fan...but for the occasion Ill steal his lyrics...Yo, I told you. Why you standing there, man? Yo, sound the bell, school is in, sucka. My grandmother, aunt, uncle, sister-in-law, nephew and many close friends are Cal Bears. My Dad was a beat sportswriter who covered the Bears (and Stanford) and I grew up at Memorial Stadium and Stanford Stadium on Saturdays. If I hadnt gotten into Stanford I probably would have gone to Cal. But it didnt turn out that way and when you get the chance to rub it in, you rub it in. And hey, its just a football game. Turn it up, play the video and have a Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
