We all knew it was coming, but I’ve been nominated for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, thanks Jason Lee Just before you watch this video, a little disclaimer: Yes this is a satirical play on the Ice Bucket Challenge, but that does not lessen the value and importance of what this challenge represents. Every video, no matter the quality or production, helps to promote awareness for the disease, a disease that has no known cure and affects upwards of 2 people per 100,000 each and every year. Those affected by ALS can live anywhere between 2-5 years, with a small majority of candidates living past this. Please, take the time to understand the disease we’re trying to create awareness for, and if you can, donate to help fund the research possible in finding a cure. Despite the stipulations behind this challenge, I have donated to the cause anyway. This isn’t a ‘who donated more than who’ challenge, so every little bit helps. Please don’t take offense to this video, for I wasn’t trying to offend or instill offensive thoughts into anyone. I created this video in this particular way because I enjoy and cherish making creative content for everyone, it makes watching these videos seem less repetitive, and if I can use any sort of creative influence over what I do, then I’ll do it. I enjoy seeing every ice bucket challenge, but I can understand those who find them to be useless and stupid. As long as we understand the meaning for these videos, and to those who are performing them, are humble and respective of the disease, then there really shouldn’t be any problem with what happens in these videos. Inb4 ‘oh you water waster, think of the earth you selfish pig’, I deliberately didn’t shower for 8 years in complete anticipation for this video, I needed it. So yeah, enough of this, have a glance at what I created, have a giggle, try to appreciate the effort in making this. Enjoy the video loves!
