We all long for something We long for everything Everybody wants something A desire, a need, a want; Necessity or pleasure; Does it matter? Some will pray, fast, climb mountains, seek help from men, seek help from men with answers, seek help from disoriented people, the list is endless for this search; What they long for is sometimes deemed small, big or too much It still doesnt matter for the seeker, he alone sees the necessity in the smallest thing My friend looked at my hair and longed for it, she went far and near to have a naturally long hair like mine, she got it and six months later, my friend was on a low cut hair, i thought it was a wig until i realised it was her hair- why all the search if she was gonna cut it all up? Then Sis Gbolabo wont let Yahweh rest o, she was at every prayer meeting, singles meeting, seminars upon seminars till she herself became a motivational speaker but when she married James, Na so so fight fight o with plenty reasons. There is Bode who wanted to be rich at all cost, he sold his kidney and when that wasnt enough, he visited Baba only to give his soul for riches, he sure cant spend the money where he is, so why the hurry. The list is endless, ask yourself: is it necessary? What will i do with it in the long run? Cant it wait? Wont i get it if Im patient? Hmmmmmmmmm, we all long for something but dont go losing yourself over it.
