We all try and help as many dogs as we can whether pedigree or crosses. The dogs are our importance. There are 1,000s on death row. Lets try and home dogs that are already in the refuges so that spaces can be freed to then be able to rescue the ones on death row. Foster homes in Spain are quite sparse, If anyone can foster a dog until rehomed, please contact your local refuge. This will help enormously to rehabilitate them to family life, some of which have never had. Please the dogs are our importance. For each one adopted from a refuge another one is saved. I note also that there are some refuges that send dogs to other countries, most of these dogs also can end up in similar kennels to here and have known dogs to be stuck in kennels for a year or more. Think twice about sending them to kennels in whatever country it is. It might be a better option but I think we all must be careful. We need homes for these poor unfortunate dogs and main priority is foster homes. More fosters and of course more people wanting to adopt.
