We are a first time parrot owner and bird owner for that matter. I have read the do not feed list and I am good with that. We bought her for our six year old, pet friendly daughter. She is gentle, kind and loving to the new member of our family. What are the dos and donts when it comes to proper care? I would like to know how often we should bathe our parrot. Our parrot is 2 years old and does not have any bad habits so far. She is sweet and she lets my daughter pick her up regularly. How many of you clip their wings? What are the advantages of clipping or not clipping? So far, we could not be happier having our little Senegal parrot. We named her Jewel.
