We are at a loss for words to describe how thankful we are to our U3B family during the time of Tims dads illness and passing. The visits, calls, food and flowers were so appreciated by the family as we sat by his side. Your prayers were definitely felt as we struggled for comfort and peace and seeing the array of U3B faces in line at the visitation made our hearts feel a love we have never felt with any other church family before. On his last day with us, Brother Joey and Connie came by and as Joey read from the Bible, Jack became more alert than he had been in days and struggled with his words that sounded urgent. We finally heard as loud as he could speak, Joys Comes In The Morning! --He was right!! Joy did come in the morning! He passed very peacefully in his sleep at 2:20 AM the next morning. We find comfort in the knowing of Gods promises to us, that through Him, we will live eternally and will all be reunited one day. Jack never met a stranger and shared Jesus everyday with anyone and everyone who crossed his path. We are thankful that God shared him with us, and as hard as it is to let him go, we know who he belongs to. He answered our prayers in so many ways, that we give Him complete Glory & Praise! We ask for continued prayer for Tims mom Edna as she mourns her beloved Jack, and for Tim, for he has lost his very best friend. A special thank you to our U3B SS Class, Joey and Connie Hanner, Randy and Vinicia Cortez, Rodney and Kathy Roberts, Kelly Townsel, Ronnie, Karen, Nathan and Leigha Pollard, Allen and Liz Whisenant, Bobby and Ginger Pitts, Paul and Monica Wink, Verna Henderson & Mrs. Kiser, Kim and Dwayne Floyd, Mandy Brittain, and Jay Beggs - Jay was on call with Hospice when we had to make the call, and we are so thankful for his loving, comforting manner, as he spent time and prayed with us. Each and every one of you at U3B are loved and appreciated!
