We are back!!! The wind killed the fishing at the coast but the beach was nice. Finally got a lull and in the wind and took some pictures of dolphins in the intercoastal waterway. Saw some nice museums and ate lots of seafood. Spent two nights in New Braunfels swimming in the Guadalupe and visiting Gruene and other points of interest before packing up and coming home this morning. The best bike riding is definitely in Central Texas. We are finally getting the hang of RVing. You just pump $300 -$400 worth of fuel in it every day or so, spice that up with a random $1000 - $2000, and constantly clean, tighten and/or lubricate everything else and it works fine. We still have a great deal to learn about the care and feeding of a Motorhome but we have learned a bunch this summer. Next summer should be much less stressful since almost every item on the darned thing has now been replaced or is on order....... All those old timers who think an outhouse is disgusting, oderous, and unsanitary need to spend a few hours hooking up, unhooking, flushing, deoderizing, and cleaning the "Black Water Tank" on an RV. At least one can walk off and leave an outhouse. This "Black Water Tank" follows us everywhere we go. Anyway, it was a successful trip. We are home and there are no bleeding wounds. We are blessed. We generated a few memories and fulfilled some dreams (and nightmares). Pics later.
