We are back today from a few days R and R in Inverness. We took our wee camper up for a few days - first time out with this one. It will take a time or two to suss out just where everything fits best - but it was a great time away. Moira and Jamie came up for a few days, brought a tent and camped along side of us. Jamie did his Jacobite warrior routine that he does so well at the highland games. We took them to fort George and Culloden battlefield and Urquhart castle. I think when their time was up they were ready to come home for a rest, lol. We stayed on another 2 nights after they left, just catching up on some rest, and bodgering about, not doing anything really, yet not staying at the campsite either. Found a lovely wee take away shop in a wee village (cannae mind the name of the shop or the village) that makes nothing ahead of time. Everything is made fresh when ordered. I had a bar b que pizza that was second to none. Am off to my bed now - as much as I love being away in our camper, there is nothing like the bed at home... good night all
