We are completely overwhelmed and grateful for all of your kind words of love and best wishes on our anniversary today! It didnt exactly go as planned but we are blessed! Dad had surgery and they decided to keep him overnight so we stayed with our family at the hospital this evening. We did splurge and went all out for the quarter pounder meal at Mickey Ds... :) However, Im so sad we missed Haleigh Kierl dance at Art Aid tonight and perform her solo and group dances that she has worked so hard on for several months :( Honestly, it was a miracle she was able to dance considering a fire extinguisher fell on her foot during rehearsals today...but after a quick trip to the immediate care...she was right back out there and dancing! I feel awful we missed your Art Aid debut tonight sweet Haleigh; but we know you were beautiful! One other thing to add...I think...NO.. I know, our new family member arrived today. Her name is Quirk and she is a rescue that my amazing niece, Carleigh Kaytlyn Peters, has been fostering. She is a beautiful and rather large malamute :) ...we are spending the weekend together to see if she likes us...right now she is currently spread out across our bed snoozing. I think we passed the test!!! Today has been about love...a lot of love. I am full...thank you everyone. God bless...
