We are famous.....well sort of....but still fun! Once upon a time, Kathy and Philip were engaged. Kathy’s original diamond had been passed down through Philip’s family for generations, and they intended to give it to their son to use for an engagement ring. Unfortunately, the ring was stolen, so they came to Mervis Diamond for a new ring for Kathy. She wasn’t really sure that she wanted another engagement ring, and knew that you really couldn’t “replace” her original ring because of its meaning and history. They continued a years-old tradition with a new diamond engagement ring from Mervis Diamond. Kathy said that you really can’t replace the sentiment from the original ring, but her new diamond was beautiful! Time passes quickly, and after wearing her ring for many years, Kathy gave her son her diamond. He proposed with a ring set with Kathy’s diamond last December. Now the ring is being worn by its second wearer, Kathy and Philip’s future Daughter-in-Law! It’s an exciting time for everyone as a wedding is being planned. And a surprise for Kathy was in the works, thanks to her husband. She had an upcoming birthday, and no diamond engagement ring! Kathy and Philip had talked about looking for a new engagement ring, maybe around her birthday. That sounded fine to Kathy, but unbeknownst to her, her husband had been to Mervis and selected a new engagement ring for Kathy that he presented to her for her birthday! She was surprised and loves her new ring! She has been getting many compliments. In fact, friends say that Philip did a great job choosing the diamond, and Kathy says she keeps getting a gorgeous diamond every time! Thank you Kathy and Philip.
