We are finishing up 4th day post op of dads recovery and I cant express how well he is doing as he cruises along. Pain management is via oral meds and they are working quiye well, he was able to sleep lying flat foe sometime today, oxygen is down to 2 L, IVs off, and he walked the entire floor thanks to PT, and shaved himself thanks to OT. Oh..... and a full liquid diet!! He has a WONDERFUL surgeon and primary care physician that have worked wonderful together in communicating any concerns. He is near the nurses station and has been taken care of quite well by the 6th floor staff at Christian. Thank you agsin to everyone that have kept him in your prayers!!
