We are looking to hire a Senior Estimator: Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Review project plans, requirements, and specifications. 2. Have demonstrated leadership abilities to coordinate a team of estimators to develop a large multidisciplinary estimate. 3. Determine labor and equipment costs. 4. Review accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing. 5. Review and understand all bid documents and assess project risks. 6. Prepare JV Instructions and manage JV reviews. 7. Understand project logistics and project schedule. 8. Prepare bid packages. Compare and analyze competitive subcontractor and supplier bids. 9. Review quotes and estimates with the Project Management Team. 10. Prepare estimates at different levels of completion (conceptual, Schematic, DD, CD, etc.) 11. Perform certain post-bid buyouts. 12. Perform pre-construction duties and meetings with Clients, Owners, and Engineers. 13. Responsible for developing leadership, motivation, and communication with owners, subcontractors and project team and is accountable for their actions. Qualifications and Experiences: 1. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. 2. 5 to 8 years of experience in cost estimating for infrastructure, bridges and road projects. 3. Advanced computer skills with estimating software. 4. Effective presentation skills. 5. Extensive knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles. 6. Familiarity of all aspects of horizontal and infrastructure projects. 7. Well organized, flexible, detail oriented and multi-tasked. 8. Prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines while constantly changing tasks and demands. 9.
