We are now awaiting the formal announcement of the Resignation of Fiona Woolf as chair of the Child Abuse Inquiry. Virginia Woolf was appointed by the Tory Home Secretary to head the Inquiry. Fiona Woolf is a personal friend of former Tory Home Secretary Leon Brittan, who is one of those now openly named as possibly involved. Her position is further complicated by the disclosure a statement by her was re-written b y Home Office officials, and she did not resist their re-write, which may indicate she will do what she is told! Downing Street is adamant she will not be removed... The victims unanimously insist she is untenable, and has to go. If she is allowed to continue, this government is immediately implicated in the cover-up... and the victims are placed in an impossible position. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-29844612
