We are open today till 6:30 at the Market, and 7 at the Stand! Suzi made a paleo blackberry peach crisp last night, and we are eating it for breakfast! Preheat oven to 350, Filling: Place 4 peaches cut into slices, 2 pints blackberries. 1 TBS arrowroot, 1 TBS vanilla extract. 4 drops lemon doTERRA essential oil, or squeeze half a lemon. Depending on the sweetness of your fruit, add 1-2 TBS honey. toss to mix. Transfer to a 2 qt baking dish. Bake for 30-40 min till fruit releases some liquid, and mixture is slightly thickened. Topping: pulse 1 cup almond flour, 1/4 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp sea salt in food processor, then add: 2 TBS coconut oil, at room temp (or cultured grass-fed butter), 2 TBS honey. 1 cup sliced almonds or pecans if you wish. Drop by spoonfuls over the fruit and spread out to make a crust. Bake an additional 25-35 minutes, until topping is golden brown, and its bubbling. Cool, then serve warm.
