We are pleased to support Oceans Project and Sarah Weldon, Sarah will be the first person ever to attempt rowing single handed around the British mainland. On completion she will hold 4 Guinness World Records The row is 3000 miles and will take around 14 weeks to complete; Sarah will row up to 15 hours a day, sleeping for a maximum of 2 hours in any one go. Sarah is currently training hard at our Kendal Leisure Centre; one of the main challenges for Sarah has been the need to gain four stone in weight to prepare for her row. Sarah is doing a Science Comedy Show about her adventure with dates and venues around the UK Hong Kong & Iceland. The show is called What Not to Eat at Sea< more info here oceansproject/tour.html> .
