We are required to sow and plant, but only the Father can bring - TopicsExpress

We are required to sow and plant, but only the Father can bring increase. This is a principle of how the Kingdom works as taught by Jesus. “…The Kingdom of God is like a farmer who scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, while he’s asleep or awake, the seed sprouts and grows, but he does not understand how it happens. The earth produces the crops on its own…“(Mark 4:26-28, New Living Translation). The phrase “on its own” is the single Greek word automatos from which our English word “automatic” is derived. It literally means “acting without the instigation or intervention of another. Those that are doing the will of the Father, will enter a place of rest where they cease striving and begin to discover supernatural power and provision flowing from the Father to and through them for executing His vision. God begins to work with them and the Christian life and ministry is not tedious, but joyful.
