We are sometimes asked with all the complaints and pleas how do we - TopicsExpress

We are sometimes asked with all the complaints and pleas how do we choose what cases we take. Honestly we get hundreds of complaints and we do the best we can to help as many as we can. We choose with keeping a few things in mind. 1) Is the animal that is being reported to us already have people fighting for them? 2) Is the animal currently being abused? 3)Does the animal have a good chance of being killed or suffering terribly if we dont respond right away? 4) can we help others help the animal so we dont have to respond? 5) how credible is the complaint? (sadly some people lie). We mostly concentrate on the animals that have no one else besides us. We fight for the ones that are in back yards, basements, abandoned buildings, being fought, being beat and while suffering that no one knows. The harsh city streets, back alleys, snow storms, hurricanes, you name it we are out in it. Can we get to them all?, no we cant but we get to many that no one else can or does. Most of what we do is never talked about, not seen on face book and we have many many more to help. I cannot thank all the people who support Justice Rescue enough. From donations, to volunteers, to supplies being dropped off and etc. We are doing the best we to not only rescue every abused animal we can but to also educate others how to do it also. We proudly work with the police municipalities and our influence is working. Less dogs being shot, more officers learning more about how to handle the dogs, more officers learning the humane statues and more officers reacting to complaints that they once would not have known how to.
