We are sorry to announce that our Large Prairie 4141 will not be availble for service this coming weekend as part of our Real Ale Festival. Due to essential unplanned repairs started earlier this week which we have not completed and as a result we cant run the steam engine we had planned. The Real Ale Festival, complete with 40 ales, ciders and perries will go ahead as planned and we will be replacing the steam-hauled services with the impressive Class 37 meaning it will running all day, putting it and the crews through their paces. We will have cab rides (additional charge on the day) on the 37. On Saturday we will have music from the Loughton Folk Club as planned. Again we apologise for any inconvenience. AW
