We are trying to create a loose parts area at our Centre. Loose parts is a great way for children to build their creativity and is also a wonderful early numeracy (maths) experience as the children explore the many patterns and shapes. We are looking for donations of wooden curtain hooks, wooden pegs (the old school ones), beautiful stones (no smaller than an old 20 cent piece), twigs, corks, beads, glass blocks that you put in the bottom of vases, shells, small mosaic type tiles and anything else that is interesting. If you are able to help with any of these, please drop them off to me at the Centre. We are also on the hunt for any unwanted table cloths of any shape. Thank you, Amy.
