We are what we eat Well if thats so, what are we? Unfortunately, most of the time the powers that be don’t WANT us to know what we eat. Genetically Modified food? We’ve been doing ok for 200,000 years, which bright spark came up with that idea? It’s not cos it’ll make it make us healthier - its cos if you CONTROL peoples food supply you’ll get RICH (illegallising other seeds etc). But if those people really want to pay the politicians/lobbyists to slide their legislation through Capitol hill, whose to stop them? Unfortunately that’s how the system works... But PLEASE - just give us ONE thing: TELL us if these products are on our supermarket shelves. MILLIONS of dollars are spent QUASHING labelling bills - why fight so hard against telling us that were eating?? If you have a right to PRODUCE this stuff, dont we have a right to know were CONSUMING it? And it doesnt have to be about science it can just be about preference. But if we, in this land of the free, can’t be told what we’re eating by simple LABELING, we must give thanks to these guys who DO tell us: The Environmental Working Group. Have a rummage round their website - all sorts of good info about our food supply.
