We at SOS Childrens Villages Kenya wish to most sincerely appreciate our Patron Her Excellency the First Lady of Kenya for hosting the SOS family for a chirstmas dinner yesterday. Her Excellency also gave a christmas donation of Kes500,000/- to shared amongst the five SOS Childrens Villages across the country (Nairobi, Mombasa, Eldoret, Meru & Kisumu).The First Lady also donated Christmas cakes and two balls each to the children’s homes in Nairobi, Kisumu, Eldoret, Meru and Mombasa. Speaking on behalf of the SOS Childrens Villages, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. Martin Oduor-Otieno thanked the Patron for the support she has given the organization since coming onboard in 2013. The First Lady and the children had a meal together.
