We continue with Christmas rock songs with a song from Emerson, Lake & Palmer. In 1975, Greg Lake released I Believe in Father Christmas, a song while open to interpretation, Lake claims to be about the commercialization of Christmas. The song reached number 2 on the UK Christmas charts on its release and is Greg Lakes only major solo hit. Roughly two years later, ELP would release the song as a group, albeit more stripped down than the original, on their album Works Vol. 2.
