• We could have become a truly atheist state... sadly we lost to the religious extremists. They described the « Charter of Values » as a racist, xenophobic and intolerant bill. The majority of French Canadians supported it... but we still lost ! • ---> Most of you probably havent heard about Quebecs provincial election. The real issue behind that election was the fight for secularism and Quebecs Identity. An overwhelming majority of our people wanted a removal of all religious symbols within Quebecs public sector... It was pretty clear in every polls. Sadly, the PQ ( promoter of this Charter ) lost and the project is now dead. ---> I didnt vote in that election. As a matter of fact, I never vote... Voting, especially for big/mainstream political parties, change nothing. They dont fight for the interest of the people, but for the interest of lobbies, unions, big corporations and international finance. As I already said, Quebecs Social Credit movement was the only political party ( and movement! ) who stood up for the people of our land. Sadly, they were no match against the lies of the Mass Media and the political and economical « elites ». ---> Nevertheless, as an atheist, I still liked and supported the « Charter of Values ». Unfortunately, and it really shouldnt come up as a surprise, the majority lost again! Maybe youd find this story interesting... Thats why I tagged you :) Dorian Yates, Nautilus-Training C. J.
