We did a fun run on the Little Muskingum River. We paddled from Ring Mill in Wayne National Forest to Rinard Mills. 7 miles in 3.5 hrs., paddling pretty steadily. This portion of the river includes the Knowlton covered bridge, and, there has been a re-introduction of wild otters into the area. We combined the paddling with camping at M & D horses, canoes, & kayaking camp site in the Graysville area. M & D is super reasonably priced, so much so that we just rented yaks off of them to get RT transport, instead of hauling our own. Water level was perfect, after the rain of last week. If the level is down, there would definitely be low areas that would have be walked/dragged.
