We dont wish death on anyone but the official push to get every person in the US to get the flu vaccine is simply absurd and 147 deaths in the state of California from flu is certainly not newsworthy. All these news pieces about a few deaths from flu serve to do is demonstrate to the public what a farce flu vaccines are and the the extent to which authorities purvey fear. Here is the scoop: According to official statistics, 147 people have died in the state of California from the flu this year and 44 potentially flu related. There are 38 million people in California so the death rate from flu is an infinitesimal .00000387. What does this mean? That even assuming the flu vaccine worked perfectly (it does not) and even if it matched the strains perfectly (it does not), vaccinating 38 million people would save 147 lives. Does that seem worth the headlines all over the country discussing deaths from flu not to mention the cost and risk of vaccinating all those millions with mercury laden flu vaccines? Over 10,000 Californians died from accidents in 2010. (cdph.ca.gov/data/statistics/Documents/VSC-2010-0508.pdf) We dont share this to minimize the sadness and tragedy of 10,000 accidental deaths or 147 deaths from flu but to put them in context.
