We faced much adversity this weekend. The weather for one, was atrocious. On Saturday morning, Lucky didnt start. He had a flat battery (an old battery). Super awesome AA man came and gave Lucky mouth to mouth and he came back to life. This morning (Sunday), the rain was so heavy we considered not opening. INSTEAD, we thought wed put up an ezy-up. We felt pretty chuffed that wed provided a dry environment for our taco lovin folk...when the hot plates failed to ignite. SHIT. After cursing and trying for about 10 minutes to light our hot plates, we though we needed an expert. SO. We called Wayne. Hes an emergency gas fitter. He arrived in less than 10 minutes. He knew what was wrong but didnt know whether he had the correct part to fix the problem. Hallelujah! He did! All of our awesome regulars waited for 20 minutes (in the blustery weather) for tacos. Thanks for the love and the patience yall! But most of all, thanks to the heroes of the weekend: The AA guy (sorry we didnt get your name) and Wayne from Urgent Plumbing & Gas. Its cos of you guys, we could Lucky Taco this weekend. Muchas gracias amigos!
