We finally have it in black and white that the push to remove the dam was at the urging of staff recommendations. However, following the public meeting of Oct. 15, 2013 and the subsequent meeting between staff, members of our Save the Dam committee, Councillors Kieffer, Reid and Price as well as representatives from AMEC, MNR and GRCA , staff is now undertaking a double check review of the repair option.
